Aluminum Perforated Metal

Perforated Aluminum Supplier

Perforated Aluminum for Commercial Production

Get the Best for What You Do

When weight, corrosion resistance, and workability all matter in the same application, aluminum perforated metal is the material procurement teams reach for. Canada Perforating manufactures perforated aluminum sheet and coil in 5052-H32 and 3003-H14 alloys, with hundreds of standard patterns in stock and full custom perforation capability for OEM and volume orders. Our 64,000 sq ft facility in Fort Erie, Ontario processes aluminum in-house — no customs delays, no cross-border lead time risk, and no tariff exposure for Canadian buyers. Whether you’re specifying for HVAC diffuser panels, architectural cladding, agricultural equipment, automotive components, or industrial enclosures, our team will help you match the right alloy, gauge, and hole pattern to your application.

Why Choose Canada Perforating?

Benefits of Perforated Aluminum

Our perforated aluminum products are specified for HVAC diffuser and return air panels, architectural facades and sunshades, agricultural equipment guards and ventilation panels, automotive trim and speaker grilles, electronic enclosures, lighting fixtures, and retail merchandising displays.

5052 and 3003 Alloys In Stock

We carry perforated aluminum sheet in both 5052-H32 and 3003-H14 alloys across a range of standard gauges and hole patterns. 3003 is the general-purpose choice. These are highly formable, weldable, and well-suited to indoor and moderate-exposure applications where maximum corrosion resistance is not the primary requirement. 5052 offers significantly higher strength and superior corrosion resistance, making it the preferred alloy for marine environments, outdoor architectural applications, and any situation where the material will face exposure to the elements or chemical contact.

Lightweight Without Sacrificing Performance

Aluminum perforated sheet is roughly one-third the weight of equivalent steel. This is a meaningful advantage for applications where structural load, shipping cost, or ease of installation are factors. For OEM manufacturers building components that move, and for architectural projects where facade weight affects structural calculations, that weight difference is a specification driver, not just a convenience.

Coil-to-Coil Processing for High-Volume Orders

Canada Perforating is one of the only facilities in Canada offering coil-to-coil aluminum perforating. For manufacturers and OEMs with ongoing production requirements, coil processing delivers consistent perforation quality across long runs, tighter tolerances, and faster turnaround than sheet-only operations. If your line depends on a reliable supply of perforated aluminum coil, let's talk.

Experienced Canadian Manufacturing

Aluminum is one of the materials most affected by trade dynamics. Sourcing from a Canadian manufacturer means your perforated aluminum ships domestically, invoices in Canadian dollars, and carries no cross-border tariff exposure. We understand the tolerances and material behaviour your applications require, and we can help you get the specification right before you commit to an order.

3003-H14 is the general-purpose alloy — highly formable, weldable, and well-suited to indoor and moderate-exposure applications where maximum corrosion resistance is not the primary concern. It is a common choice for HVAC components, lighting fixtures, and general industrial enclosures.

5052-H32 offers significantly higher strength and superior corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and outdoor environments. It is the preferred alloy for architectural facades, agricultural equipment, and any application involving prolonged exposure to moisture, salt air, or mild chemicals.

If you are unsure which alloy fits your application, our team can help you decide based on your environment, load requirements, and finish specifications.

We stock perforated aluminum sheet across a range of gauges, commonly from 14 gauge through 22 gauge, with availability varying by alloy and pattern. Standard sheet sizes include 48" x 96", with additional sizes available depending on the pattern.

For custom gauges or non-standard sheet dimensions, contact us with your spec and we will confirm availability and lead time.

Yes. Canada Perforating offers coil-to-coil and coil-to-sheet aluminum perforating — one of the few Canadian facilities with this capability. Coil processing delivers consistent perforation quality across long production runs with tighter tolerances and faster turnaround than sheet-only operations.

If your production line requires a reliable ongoing supply of perforated aluminum coil, contact us to discuss volume, gauge, alloy, and pattern requirements.

Yes. We manufacture custom perforation dies in-house, so we are not limited to our standard pattern catalog. If your application requires a specific hole diameter, hole shape, pitch, or open area percentage — or if you need a proprietary pattern for an OEM component — we can develop a custom die and produce to your specification.

Lead times for custom tooling vary depending on complexity. Reach out early in your project timeline so we can plan accordingly.

Perforated aluminum is used across a wide range of industries where its combination of light weight, corrosion resistance, and workability is an advantage. Common applications include HVAC diffuser and return air panels, architectural facades and sunshades, agricultural equipment guards and ventilation panels, automotive trim and speaker grilles, electronic and industrial enclosures, lighting fixtures, and retail merchandising displays.

Its weight advantage over steel makes it particularly valuable in applications where ease of installation, structural load limits, or shipping cost are factors in the specification.

Use our RFQ form and include: your alloy preference (3003 or 5052), gauge or thickness, sheet or coil requirement, hole pattern (or describe the open area and hole size you need), quantity, and any applicable standards or tolerances.

The more detail you can provide, the faster we can turn around an accurate quote. We typically respond to RFQ submissions within one business day.
